Growth, ineffective capacity utilization and increasing customer requirements with smaller batch sizes up to individual customer and just-in-time production required a restructuring of the organization and technology at JCF Kaufmann GmbH. Structural problems with the locations of the production facilities, grown material flow as well as problems with productivity, flexibility, delivery service and quality demanded the reorganization of the logistic processes, business processes and the physical material flow.
