The VOLKSWAGEN XL1 is a “one-liter car. This is made possible by the hybrid drive system consisting of an electric motor and a combustion engine combined with lightweight construction technologies. After a successful prototype, a small series was to be built in Osnabrück. The plan was to set up an assembly line for 200 vehicles. In cooperation with VW, MALORG Consulting developed a complete logistics concept that focused on production without forklifts.
