Atropatena is known as an import and distribution company based in Baku (Azerbaijan). The company is currently the exclusive distributor for world-renowned companies such as DANONE, Nestle, Henkel, Schwarzkopf or 3M, among others. For the planning of a new multi-temperature warehouse at the Baku site, the company sought support from MALORG Consulting.

Project description

  • On-site inspection and analysis of the ACTUAL processes
  • Data analysis with multiple iteration
  • Actual and plan data preparation
  • Development of a multi-temperature solution for household and cleaning products,
  • chocolate products, pharmaceutical products, pet food, refrigerated and frozen food products
  • Selection for storage, picking, shipping and returns solutions
  • Multi-chamber solution for transport vehicles
  • Transport strategies for city deliveries in Baku and for intercity deliveries with transfer points
  • Fitting the desired logistics solution into the purchased site

Project details

  • 3+1 aisles with RBG
  • 5.760 pallets with 2,1 m and 2.300 pallets with 1,4 m
  • multi-temperature warehouse: +25°, +15°, +2°, -25° C
  • picking tunnel located in the HRL with “pick to belt by bin
  • Order-specific consolidation of the pick positions
  • Controlled pick and consolidation process
  • Consolidation in multi-temperature roll containers
